Rules for adopting and using a theme
from Forum Themes by Angela:

  1. Only the owner of a Premium forum may reserve a theme. This is not negotiable.
  2. The forum owner must be a DelphiPlus member. You cannot install and use a theme with Delphi Advanced, and I will not install it for you, nor permit another member to install it for you, in order to bypass Delphi's rules. DelphiPlus members pay extra for the privileges of their membership and it is my policy to respect that.
  3. Forum themes are very complex to create and implement and can take weeks to design. As a result, an adoption comes with a minimum use time of three months. (Exception is holiday themes, and these will be noted as holiday themes.) If you're not sure whether or not your members will like the theme, ask them before you reserve it. Once it is reserved, you are responsible for the three-month limit. If you and your forum members would like to keep a theme beyond the three-month 'loan' period, that is perfectly acceptable. There is no maximum use time.
  4. Please be respectful. Flaming and other abuses will not be tolerated and may result in a suspension of your ability to enter the forum and/or adopt themes.
  5. Forum designs are as-is. If your reason is strong enough, I may agree to make very minor changes, but I am never obilgated to make changes except when there is an error or other technical problem with the theme. And you, as forum owner, may not make changes to the design, nor permit anyone from your forum to make changes to it. If you elect to do so, you will be asked to remove the theme from your forum entirely and will not be permitted to adopt another. Aside from the fact that I can spend days or weeks perfecting a theme, a change in one area may change things in SEVERAL areas, and can conceivably even cause your members' browsers (or in rare situations, OS) to crash.
  6. I reserve the right to not adopt a design to private forums. I also only adopt to active forums - not test forums, nor forums less than two months old. I may make an exception for a newer forum with a lot of activity.
